72 Mach 1 restoration
Hi Guys, As Suggested by Steven Harris.

We have just started DECONSTRUCTING a '72' ready for a restoration.

The project has been delayed due to other work in our shop.

Looks pretty solid to me I wish I had floors that solid. JTS 71 Mach1
Thanks Julian.

I appreciate you starting the rebuild thread.

So far it doesn't look to bad. The difference between the amount of work needed on the passenger side verses the drivers side would lead me to believe that you have some cowl repair work to do as well.

I am looking forward to the updates!
We have been told and have now seen... it has been repaired before although badly... it has had new rear quarters badly repaired trunk tubs the rear wheel tubs are non existant the inner front panels require work too. more pics soon
Thank you for sharing the pictures...keep them coming!
This is where we are at today

After waiting for the new panels and parts to arrive, we have now started on the major deconstruction.

Yikes Shock what looks good on the outside doesn't always mean they will stay that way when you get to the inside. You definitely have a lot of work to repair, replace and redo. Good Luck. JTS 71 Mach1
Thanks for the update.

You just never know what lurks under previous attempts. It looks though as though you are giving this one a new lease on life!
Not a Mach1 but this is the type of work that we do, as well as the general day to day servicing etc...

This came to us after the previous owner was caught playing away... the now ex smashed every lamp, stabbed all the tyres, kicked, dented and scratched every panel. 2lb of sugar in the gas tank etc. she did the biz on it... the Guy couldn't afford the repairs so my boss bught it as a shop promo truck

From a very beaten 1 of these
