Well its about that time to start thinking about replacing the tires on my 70 Mach. They are only 12+ years old and moreless bald :)
I know that I am going with BF GoodRich T/A's cause I have always loved the look of them but I just can't decide what size I want to go with. Right now I have 205/70/14 on the front and 245/60/14 on the rear on 14X7 wheels on all corners. I really kinda wanna get away from the wider tires on the rear and have the same size all around.
Just wondering if anyone else is running 14" wheels and if so what tire size they are happy with. Post some pic's if you got them
Figure whatever route I go I'll be stuck with for atleast 10 years so I wanna make the right choice

Come spring I plan to remove 1 back rim & tire and place it on the front and do the same with one of the front tires. That way I will have 2 the same size on one side and the other 2 on the other side. Hopefully that will give me an idea on the look. Kinda thinking that the 245's will be too wide and the 205's might be to small but we'll see.
I do though like the idea of a 225/70/14 to be close to the original size. Wish I had a couple laying around that I could try. I do like the idea of Bias-ply but they are alittle pricey. Really would give back that 100% 70's driving experince though :) Also not sure if they would last the 10 years I wanna get out of them heehhe

I just bought a new set of BFG TAs last year. I found the best price at Sam's Club. I had to order them online and they shipped them to the store. I have been using 235/60/15s since I went to radials. Originally the car had Goodyear Polyglas F-60-15s. They let me in the shop while they changed the tires as I have the center caps on my Magnum 500s secured on the inside of the wheels with internal snap rings. They wanted me to remove them myself as they did not want to be responsible for damaging them.

Looks decent....maybe that is the look I wanna go with :) SO many choice's LOL Maybe tomorrow I will switch mine around and see how it looks. All depends on how cold it is in my Ice Cube I call a garage

My 5-year old granddaughter rode with me and had a blast waving to the crowd and yelling, "Merry Christmas". A couple of her K5 classmates were in the crowd so she became an instant celebrity the following Monday at kindergarten. We were in line behind a bunch of Cub Scouts walking in front of us and doing about 3 mph. Every time I'd rev the motor to "clear" it out they'd nearly have a heart attack and pick up their pace considerably.
LOLOLOL Poor cubs. Ive been asked to be in the Christmas Parade before but it seems the roads are usually salted by the time its on. Have to have a pretty strong car to be able to handle the abuse of a stop and go parade. I think mine would be o.k but its hard to say. Least the main street of Kingston is all down hill LOL......I could probably coast a good part of it.

15" Magnums with BFG 245/60/15 all around no rubbing issues and handles great. I had Torino Magnums on my old 73 14 x7 and ran 225/70/14 on front and 245/60/14 on back and they were almost identical height.
