OHHH !!! The plot Thickens! Appears there is some "Tom Foolery" afoot. LOL! I'm being funny, as I definitely like the look of the 71-72 front end. I never liked the 73. Great choice ! By the way it's yours, and damn the purists!

In the good ole USA anything built, after September of a given year is always coded as the next model year. So a September car is a 72, and a October car would be a 73. I believe there are some exceptions to this. As what might have been in process on the line at the start of October? Not really sure how they did the change over.
