Shaker Air Filter
#1
Hope this is the right section: looking for advice for an air filter for my 69 Shaker as well as the proper dimensions. Would a round superflow k&n filter with top flow work? Engine is a 351W that has been bored and stroked. I appreciate any thoughts you could share.

Hey Bambus, been awhile. I checked Rock Auto and they list quite a few options none that were for the shaker. So another call to Pergie might be the best, and maybe they can give you a Fram, Motorcraft number, or some other brand that can be cross referenced. Not sure of a good answer. Good Luck.

It has been a while.  Thanks for the advice. One of those ‘why didn’t I think of that’ moments. The build is going well. I’ve learned that restorations take a lot longer than an hour episode on Motor Trend. The car should be done at some point this summer. That said, the shop doing the work allows me to work on the car when I’m able to carve off some time. I’ve learned a lot! She has an appointment with an interior shop in October.

Boy you are so right about the time it takes to restore a car. My big problem is outside influences. Job, Wife, 5 Kids, 10 Grandkids, Birthdays, etc. So even with all the breaks I get working for the school district. Something always seems to get in the way. LOL! Good Luck sounds like you'll end up with a great car in the end. Cool  A "69" Mach1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
