I'm trying to locate the brake line coming of the distribution block going to the rear brake lines (power disc front/rear drum) for my 72 Mach 1 (built Apr 72). I was able to purchase all the front lines and those to the master cylinder in a kit, but can't find the line going to the rear. I can't seem to find just that line or a kit for the power rear drum.
Any help you could provide is greatly appreciated.

I have a Mac's Antique Auto Parts catalog. They don't show the lines separately, they do list a kit. which includes all pre bent lines exactly as the originals. With, or without Front discs. The 72 kit with disc brakes, shows to be D2ZZ-2269-FKT for $90.95. You have to get the rubber brake hoses separately, but they have them also. The catalog is old so the price is probably not right, but for a Hundred Bucks or so a complete kit would be exceptional. You can find them online at
www.macsautoparts.com another place to try is Rock Auto as they have a lot of parts you'd never expect. Hope it helps.

JTS, that's the challenge, I didn't want to buy the whole setup, and it doesn't really make it clear if this is for "front Disc" and Rear Drum.

You might try to find the oldest Ford Dealer you can one that's been in business for the last 50 years and just get lucky they would have one??? Or if you have a friend in the Ford parts department. They should be able to do a search and see if one of the Ford dealers in the country might have one??? Good Luck.

Does anyone have a schematic, diagram or picture of how the distribution block to rear brake line runs by the firewall? Does it go over or under the steering box?
Thank you for any help you could provide

Wow you got me on that one. It seems to me it came off the rear of the expansion block, and went down the inner fender to the frame rail, and then followed the frame rail under the car, but man that was a long time ago. I hope someone else is reading this, and knows. Hey Eric got any ideas for him. Eric is also known as Mister 4X4 on here. He restored probably the most rusted Mach1, I believe I'd ever seen. So there is a good chance he knows the answer. Try sending him a private message, as you never know when he's watching the forum. Good Luck.

I bought all new hard lines for my 71 from Kentucky mustang. They are awesome. Give them a ring or look at them online
