That's a real old MPC kit with Fred Cady decals and some other parts from various sources. I built that one about 15 years ago.

Looks great, was it a Mach 1 kit or did you add the Mach 1 Rocker Trim to it? Reason I ask is if there is a MPC Mach 1 kit out there somewhere I am missing it and I want it LOL
Guessing that these are the decals that you used

The Mach1 part was molded in. I bought it as a rough shell already built so I had to round up some other parts to complete it. I'm sure an original MPC kit would be pretty pricey. I also have the Revell 69 GT convertible and that kit sells for stupid money too. I did use the Fred Cady decals but Keith Marks also does a set. See

Years ago I purchased Decals from Keith Marks. At the time he also had a Grille and something else that he made. I forget what the 2nd custom part he sent was. Then I lost them LOL so I have to re-order them. That was before Revell relesed the 70 Mach kit. I've always wanted to purchase the FC Decals just never got around to it.
Is this the MPC kit that you speak of

No - that kit would not have the molded in "Mach1". For all I know it could have been a funny car kit. There was no box with it. I do have the Palmer Boss 302 kit which is probably similar to the MPC one on Ebay. There kits are outrageously priced. I'm surprised no one even did a resin copy of the 70 Mach1 to be used with the 69 MPC kit. I'm not too crazy about the Monorgam/Revell 70 Mach1 the with add on chrome Mach1 lower panels but otherwise it's a much better kit any of the old AMT and MPC vintage stuff.

Far as I know I have all the 70 Mach kits available. Even have a Resin Kit made by Missing Link, not sure if it will work on the MPC kit though.
Here is the link to all my kits

I have extras of all the Snap Kits and the new Revell Kit but the old originals were just way to expencive to think about having more then one.
I had full intention to either build a replica of my Mach with the Revell Kit or have someone do it for me. Who knows if it will ever happen :) Snap kits might be enough of a challange LOLOLOL
The Original Mach Won kit & Blue Crescent are pretty kewl......probably the best thing about them is the age of them. Pretty hard piece to get and very glad I was able to get them.
