Dome light wiring

So my dad had a new headliner put in before he passed and the car became mine. They did a fantastic job on the headliner and installed a new dome light. Looks awesome. But…some brainiac never ran the wire to the new dome light. So…I need to run one. I’d like to only peel back as little as I need and fish a wire to the light. My question is, where does this wire get fed from? Drivers side A pillar I assume?

That seems right as I remember there are little clips that hold it to the A pillar under the trim piece, then it goes back to the roof bow nearest the dome light with more clips, then to the light. I think that's right. If not someone will come along and set me straight. LOL!
