To the Mach1 Club. All I can say is Sorry Dude! We don't usually miss when new people join up. But it looks like we blew it big time. So Welcome to the Club lots of great people, and tons of info. We try man, the great thing is we all Love are Mach1's. Ford made some of the most Iconic Muscle cars, and the Mach1 was at the top of the heap. I can remember when I first got my 71 Mach1, and when the Chevy boys heard it had a Cleveland in it, they didn't want to play / race no more. Sad part it was originally a 2 barrel 351. But they didn't know that. LOL!
I installed the 500+ HP 351 Cleveland a year or so later when I blew up the original, due to the valve stem seals breaking up and jamming the oil pump, twisting the shaft. I wanted more HP anyway, that just sped up the process.
