Just received a letter from Ford Mustang Division and Ford Performance Racing in reference to the MACH1TRACKATTACK.COM being held at the North Carolina raceway. You get some classroom training on the new MACH1 and then you get to take one of theirs out on the track (road or oval not sure), August "classes" are full (18 to a class) but Sept still had vacancies, that's when I am going!

WOW!!! How cool is that! Is that included in the purchase price? LOL! I would be interest in what they think that's worth? All I can say is, Have Fun, and report back! We'll be on pins, and needles till then Good Luck.
JTS
PS I just went, and read the website. IT'S FREE!!! Obviously you won't get a letter, if you didn't buy a new Mach1. But Damn, A Free in depth class on your new Mach1, and Track Time!!! Wow, what can I say Ford at it's best!

Wow That would be great as we could use the Blood stirred around here, and that sounds like a great way to start. One of my favorite saying's is drive it like you stole it. It's more fun that way. Have a blast! Good Luck!

JTS There are 3 classes (full) in Aug (54 MAch1's), I am surprised that none of them are on the site! To give insight to the experience.

Yeah maybe they don't have a computer! LOL! It's sometimes hard with all the JUNK on the internet a Club like us can get looked over pretty easily. Maybe you could mention the website at the meeting? We might pick up some new members, and get some much needed exposure of the New Mach1. We have held up the shrine to the old Mach1's quite well over the years, but they aren't making anymore of them, and most that are worth restoring, already have been. (there's still a few out there) So the amount of people that would benefit from our website is declining, and several of us old diehards, are still very much in Love with the Essence, and Mystique of them that we'll never give up. But to see the Next generation of guys, and gals enjoying them, and beating the snot out of them, as we did 40+ years ago. Will be the most excitement we've had in a long time.

I will be attending the Mach 1 Track attack on August 31st. I've been to the Boss Track Attack and the Shelby Gt 350 Track Attack at Miller Motorsports Park, fantastic facility and Ford did a great job. I'm looking forward to Charlotte Speedway, I will give an update when I get back.
