Missing A/C duct
#1
I took my dash pad off to put LED bulbs in and now I want to refit it I realise there is a piece of ducting missing that goes from the outlet vent in the pad to the main vent body with the "wire frame".
Can anyone tell me how long this piece of duct is as I shall have to make one, I assume it fixes to the outlet vent and then the wires guide it over the main housing.
I just need an overall length if possible and then I can try to make one.
I've given up trying to find one for sale, especially over here.
It's factory A/C on a 1970 mach 1.
The picture with the missing part is from a WCC video.
thanks
Jeff

Mine is a factory 1969 A/C Mach 1.  But without removing the dash pad I don't know exactly the length of that duct.  My guess is 6-8 inches and yes it attaches rather loosely to the back side of the center vents.

I'm fairly certain Perogie Enterprises in New Jersey, United States would have that duct.  You'd have to contact them about pricing and see if they ship outside the United States.

Thanks but I looked on Sunday and couldn't find anything then today I changed the search words and found 3 repo parts straight away, so I'm seeing what "Old Air" in Texas want to ship me one. It's strange anyone put mine back together with that piece missing as its so big.
