Mine was first called "The Rustang" by everybody until after I got it home from the paint shop, then my wife said I couldn't call it that anymore since all the rust was gone. I asked what she suggested, and she said, "Frankenstang - because I brought it back from the dead, there are still a few scars (welds) showing from when I put him back together, and I used pieces and parts from several different cars to do so." Wow... OK, can't argue with that logic.
My wife has a real gift when it comes to naming things (with her logic). Her 2015 Camaro is named, "Carmen" (an Italian play on red and it's pretty close to Camaro). My 2012 Ram is named, "Clifford" (The Big Red Dodge, of course). My buddy's [new] Jeep project is called, "Klooge" (that was his screen name when we all played Unreal Tournament together, and that's what he's doing with this thing... klooging it back together). Which means that my Jeep CJ-7 is named, "Dookie" (my UT screen name, since we're naming old Jeeps after such things).
She named the pool robot vacuum "Fred," out of habit (she used to name all of the houseplants 'Fred'). But when I made an automatic leveler (using some PVC and a toilet valve), she named it "Phil." I asked why, and she said, "Because that's what he does." Wow... I'm in the midst of genius.
