Well Shoot! the taillight sequencer was one of the coolest things I did to my 08. Wife even thought it was cool! She was also the one who wanted the stick. LOL! Which didn't hurt my feelings none.

I know, I was looking forward to putting it on! Well American Muscle gave me a refund and told me to keep the sequencer, so I will give it away to someone that can use it!

Hi
SO yesterday I picked up my Mach 1 from Exeter. A 125 mile journey home.
Got some waves and thumbs up along the route - Mustangs are still rare enough over here and when I refuelled near home- got asked all about it by a chap and his young son which made my day.
Of course refuelling here is £1.39 per litre (about $8.20 per gallon! so you have to be an enthusiast over  here)
the SUn has come out today and it looks like one of the best days of the year so far  -so going to venture out soon.
I am delighted so far and love the noise.
WIll post some pics and reviews as I get used to ownership.

Very nice, awesome color! That is a big engine for the petrol prices over there!! However it will be fun putting the exhaust in SPORT mode and ripping through some of the tiny country lanes, that will wake them up!
Congratulations on your purchase, enjoy it. Still learning mine as I have only had it a few weeks!

Went up to Charlotte NC for the MACH1 TRACK ATTACK! Very nice set up, hotel was about 1/4 mile from the track. We received about an hour's worth of training, then it was to the cars and the track. My car was BLACK, really sweet looking car with 386 miles on it, six speed.
We drove pretty much all day in shifts, one instructor, two drivers following. We drove the complete racetrack, did some over taking and such, cornering was correct was critical as you can imagine.
We were only allowed to use one thru four gears, weren't allowed to overtake the instructor, which was a bummer, but the overall course was a lot of fun.

Absolutely Awesome!!! What do they mean can't overtake the instructor? Sounds like a great time in spite of that one little thing. LOL! I guess I was under the impression that you were going to be able to drive your own Mach1. But hey you got to thrash the heck out of somebody else's. Sounds like a great time. I'm totally Jealous. WOW! So was it as Badd Assed, as I was thinking or better???

Oh yeah, red lined 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th... got told to slow down by my instructor   Naughty  Wink! No they had their cars rigged for the track, glad it was theirs and not mine!
Another cool thing about learning the cornering on a track, when I watched the Pepsi 500 (I think), it was at Charlotte and you could follow along with drivers as you were cornering the same as them, well I could relate! Also, even though we didn't use 5th and 6th, in the NASCAR race from what I saw they only went about 66 mph more than us (125 mph)

RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!
