Pulling the motor
#11
Okay so as an update. In the end I decided not to go with the timing kit, as the guy who produces them really was adamant about it being unnecessary after explaining to him the cars condition, and I doubt he's gonna stop me from paying him $900 for the kit if he thought otherwise. I am however still doing the high flow oil pump/pick up, timing cover gaskets, front crank seal, oil pan gasket, rear main seal, and high flow water pump. Turns out the reason for my leak was deemed to be when the old harmonic balancer went it ground into my timing cover, heating the oil pan gasket to the point of melting. I guess the previous owner didnt notice when he replaced the balancer or just thought, "well this'll be the next owners problem". Anywho, the motor should be back up to spec and then some by the end of the week. Side note, I plan on coyote swapping the car next winter, and currently plan on either selling the 4v, seeing as it has a fresh rebuild, or keeping it and building it out of the car to handle boost until the coyote gives out. I'll be documenting the entire build both on here and on my youtube when I start it. I guess if anyone sees this that needs or knows someone that needs a fresh rebuilt 4v send them my way as im open to offers lol.

HMMMMM   A coyote in a 04? Are you sure there is room? As the coyote is a huge engine physically. I ask simply because I'm in the middle of a build, stuffing a 460 Ford into an 89" Jaguar XJS. Even though the Jag came with a V12. There were still some significant clearance issues. Which required cutting, reshaping, and the welding shut, the inner fender, and firewall area. It was a pretty daunting task. So plan wisely my son,   Cool  LOL!

Type Jacobra in the search bar, and you'll be able to find pics, of my build, to give you some idea whats involved. Hope it helps.
