headers for 1969 mach 1

I have no experience with what you are trying to do.  But I do know the Pro Comp stuff is poor quality.  Like most other imported parts, initially they look good.  But the devil is in the details.  Are there any other machine shops that could have rebuilt your cast iron cylinder heads?

I'm afraid you're kind of in no mans land. The 351 Cleveland wasn't installed in the Mustang until 1970. and while 69 and 70 Mustangs are quite similar. There are some differences. Which leads me to think you are gonna have to modify, or fabricate the parts you need, or dig through an old salvage yard, with some old "Fords", and hope you get lucky. Cause I don't think you're gonna find an off the shelf part, to fit what you've got. Confused Good Luck, wish I could be more help.

For the throttle cable bracket, you are going to have modify one for an original 4 barrel 351C or 351W motor.  There is not a factory bracket that will work correctly with universal Holley carbs.  You might be able to find an aftermarket billet aluminum bracket that will work.  NPD use to sell a stainless steel bracket for your application but have discontinued it.

For the shifter rod.  Other than C4 trans originally were installed behind a 302, I don't know why it doesn't fit.  In stock forms the FMX is a stronger transmission than the C4.  I don't know why the FMX was never popular for performance use.  They are tough and can take quite a bit of abuse.

Do you have a Holley street HP carb with linkage for the trans kick down rod or an HP carb without that linkage?  Just something to consider.

I am not using the kick down linkage just a 750 holley hp on a holley strip dominator aluminum intake
