Yeah my hearts in the right place. Ford needs to hurry the Heck up and Bring out a Mach1. So we got something new to talk about. We've poured over many things on this sight over the years, and anyone new here can find tons of info on our Beloved Mach1's, but for us faithful we've been here, done, and said that. They just aren't writing very many new articles on Mach1's anymore???

I found this article that mentions the possibility of either a new Boss or Mach 1 debut coinciding with the 50th birthday of the car. So there is hope.
I think the timing is right for Ford to put out a new Mach 1 sporting the new Mustang body style. I think it is a logical business decision for them. After all 2019 will be the big 5-0 for the Mach 1. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Plus, I am sure the members here are sick of seeing my Fairlane project.
They will be reproducing the Mach 1 I've heard it first hand from people at Ford, they are trying to keep it quiet but it is coming, I've heard rumors it will be twin Turbo. BUT!! For the money go buy a 13-14 Shelby GT500, I promise you, you will absolutely love it!!! I love mine, I was going to buy a 69 Mach 1 for 30k, it was black and gold. But, it was still really old, my Shelby is fast as shit, I can beat about anything on the street at a little over 720 to the wheels and it has 10,000 miles on it. The 13 is the 20th Anniversary of SVT and is also the last car Carroll Shelby had any direct hand in before he died. Shelby actually took these out on the track. Will it be worth anything to me? Maybe hold value, but its an heirloom that you can pass on to your kids, and it will have big value 45 years from now.
I also just picked up a 2008 Shelby GT, Im getting cars that will have value later and that I can enjoy now.

I believe this is the car you are referring to. And, yes it is fast as shit. If cars could fly this would be the one!
