New Direction????

I say "Do It!". Those are great cars (when they work correctly).

A Chevy 350/ TH-350 is a common swap for those and many kits are available to facilitate the swap.

It neatly solves near every problem with the car, and is much more powerful and driveable to boot!

Just keep the mustangs...

Unfortunately I'm not rich enough to afford all of them, I need to sell the Mach1's to finance the building of the "Jagobra".
Momma was never quite "in love" with the Mach1's, but she really liked this Jag. And as we all know "If Momma Ain't Happy, Ain't nobody Happy. So There is a little insite, to the Madness! Thanks all for the comments and thoughts. JTS 71 Mach1

110% true, and that is why I don't have another project. My life is soooo much nicer when Momma's happy!

My $0.02. Keep a Mach1 and all the parts you think useful.

Build the Jag as a V12. $$ but worth it. Did not look too bad in the pictures. Engine out, clean and detail will transform it and inspire you.

Having both Jaguar/Daimler (badge engineering) and a Mustang to play with I know which one is smooth in a straight line and goes round corners.

Enjoy them both!! They are just two flavours in the motoring BBQ.

Well just to update you guy's I'm picking the Jag up Saturday the 7th. Then comes the task of cleaning and inventorying the Mach1's and all the parts I have purchased over the last several years. Then I will give everyone here first shot. I've got over $3500.00 in the 3 cars and the parts. To you guy's I'd take $3000.00 cash for it all. I can give a basic list of what's there and what I have, but to put it in perspective there is pretty much enough parts to build one Driver quality Mach1, and still have a lot of parts left over. Be assured these cars are not for the faint of heart as there is a lot of work here and everything is 42 plus years old. I had it figured I would need, a new dash pad, new front seat covers, and new carpet. Any questions just ask. If someone is interested I will get a more accurate list of what I actually have. Shoot me a message or call me 870-349-4417 Thanks Guy's.

To say the least and sight unseen, that sounds like a very fair and reasonable price for someone looking for a Mach 1 project.

It is such a refreshing change to be able to talk alternate makes and models on a 'one make' site without attracting abuse.
That is definately a point that makes this site and the regular posters the best.
I can almost taste and smell the BBQ and drinks.

As Long as we don't start talking to much about Chevy's. We have to have some standards! LOL!!! JTS 71 Mach1

Kudos to this Club...I originally joined this Club when I purchased a '69 Mach 1 but unfortunately ended up selling it after realizing it is much easier focusing on one project rather than two.

This Club has graciously allowed me to post pictures of my 66 Mustang project without banning or shunning me from the site. Ironically, the Mach 1 Club is the only site which I am registered with and a loyal member to. With that said, there are no pictures of my 66 restoration project posted on any other site!

Thanks everyone!

I feel it safe to say we are a true "enthusiasts" club above all. We are all based in our beloved Mach1's, Mustangs, and Ford's in general, but we still revere in the love of cars, and the passion they stir in our soles, as we restore them, work on them, or simply drive em like we stole them. It's something that is deeply ingrained in our hearts, and can't be ignored or forgotten as every time we see and old car sitting somewhere, it starts our brain thinking I could do this, or change that, or just rebuild it. No matter what it is. That my friends is what glues the people on this site together, an honest love for our old hunks of iron, even if all of them aren't Mach1's JTS 71 Mach1
