Hi, My name is Richard and I own a 1971 Mach 1. Except for the first 16,400 on the odometer I consider myself the original owner. Bought this car in late 1971 when I separated from active military duty. My car and I have a lot of history together. I'm retired now and my car is no longer driven daily. We do go out for drives when the traffic is light and the freeway is free to open her up. Hope there's some guys like me out there that like driving and not so much into having a show car.
Regards, Richard

A man after my own heart.
I think it's great to have show cars, but these cars were meant to be driven!
So I drive mine like I stole it! I wish i had kept my first one. JTS 71 Mach1

Hi Richard, Welcome. Great to keep your car on the road and driven. Mine are more 'Club Display' than 'Show'. The important thing is to ENJOY.

Welcome and thank you for your service to our country! Just like you, I like to take to the roads before everyone wakes up. There just seems to be so many more cars on the roads these days not to mention all the distracted drivers.
I love car shows and looking at what people have and what they have done to their cars but I prefer the spectator aspect opposed to participating, this way I can leave anytime I want to without being locked in. I am a kind of hyper-active so I get a anxious standing around when I know there are other things I can be doing!
Look forward to seeing your car.

Welcome Richard.
You have come to the right place for cars that are driven and enjoyed. Well except for mine - not because it is a trailer queen - it is a container queen at this time. BUT I do hope to get it done and enjoy it one day and sooner than latter but eventually.
I enjoy the local Friday night cruise-ins more than "shows" but usually at the shows I like to see what's out in the parking lot.
