Hey everyone, I have enjoyed reading threads here from time to time and am the owner of a 73 (3F05H) that has been going through a slow restoration process. I will admit that it is a much slower process during the golf season.
In any event, the goal is to be on the road this spring.
I do have a pile of parts to sell off, just let me know what your looking for and if I have it I will send very detailed pictures of the condition. Most of what I have for sale needs to be restored and I am willing to sell either as is or restored.
Photo of my project is from "day 1"

Welcome to the site. All in all the car looks pretty clean and I see you installing full quarter panel(s). What are your plans moving forward to get the car done by Spring? Please keep us up to date with the progress.

Great to have you here with us.
So how far have you been able to progress? I love to watch these builds and will enjoy the updates.

Here it is with the quarter installed. It's an original quarter from one of my doner cars, lucky for me it was in perfect condition.
Since that time I have installed new floor pans, trunk pan, front suspension and have the rest of the body close to being paint ready.
The interior is out for custom upholstery at my brothers shop in Virgil Ontario (Route 66 Upholstery
www.r66u.ca). He is doing a custom covering for me to match the 71 grabber lime paint that I am going with.

Nice job on quarter panel...looks great! Nothing beats factory parts. It is kind of ironic that your brother does interiors. I purchased a set of seats for my car that were already reupholstered the only thing is they did not use listing wires on the seat covers. I am finally getting around to fixing them so they will look like buckets seats but man oh man do my hands hurt!! Your brother must have one heck of hand shake if he does upholstery work for a living
Keep the pictures coming on your car.

You are right about the handshake lol. He was a welder/fitter for 30
+ years and had to give it up simply due to the toll it took on him. Over the years he always did his own interiors and in his opinion its no different than laying out steel and making it become something special (other than the weight). His work is really wonderful, from mimicking factory patterns, custom designs to old school tuck and rolls...king of the hog ring.

Hi and Welcome!
Gotta admire you guys that take on the rust. So different to my skill set. That will end up a new car, just about.
Had a friend (Snap-On dealer) who advised me about "Radiator Cap Rebuilds". 1) Remove and hold up radiator cap; 2) Kick the car out from under the cap; 3) Get your friends to roll in the restored vehicle under the radiator cap; 4) Fit the cap and close the bonnet. JOB DONE!
