Also, that must be your son's Maverick, looks good!
Thanks Mike,
I figured with your build coming to a completion I might start one on the Maverick.
I rebuilt a 84 Buick T-Type once in an old carriage shed. I had to push the car out to work on it but at least it gave me a place to put in out of the weather.

Ok, so I am spoiled. My shop is 12 x 12mtrs with pallet racking to the 5m roof. I have r/c air con; DVD player; 3phase power with full comfort facilities (shower/kitchen/laundry).
Just needs to be sorted (again). Yes, I will post some more pictures.
Will this whole thread start a new section, JTS71Mach1??

I will post more (here) and also some pictures of my other projects.
In the meantime - picture size reduction 'For Dummies'.
1) Open the picture in MS Paint.
2) Select the 'Resize and Skew' menu
3) Select 'Pixles' rather than 'Percentage'
4) Make sure the 'Maintain Aspect Ratio' box is checked
5) Reduce the top number as you see fit
6) 'Save As' to preserve the original and have the reduced copy.
7) Sent it to yourself to check sizeing in an e-mail situation
8) Repeat as required.
OK this sounds like its for me. But wait when it comes to computers I are dummy!! LOL So 1st off what is "MS paint" ? And where do I find it? I have pictures I have wanted to post since I joined but I am just too challenged I guess. Crap I can rebuild an engine, trans and set up a 9" for rear end, do body work & paint my own car but I damn well cant seem to load pictures. LOL YLWHRSE

Man YLWHRSE I'm with you on that one. I can do all you mentioned, as well but I dam sure can't figure out how to resize pictures or figure out what they're talking about.------- MS paint, ---Is that something people in Mississippi use???????? Oh well you're only as smart as the shoes your standing in. JTS 71 Mach1

Oh dear, I thought we spoke the same language. wrong again!!
I'm here in WA (Western Australia, not Washington) trying to help you guys. MS = Microsoft - as owned by that Gates bloke.
I'm sure you understand the 'select the menu' part. After that it is really follow yer nose.
I went down from 1320 (approx) pixels to about 4-500, but keep the 'Aspect Ratio' box ticked. Takes a couple goes to get the hang of it but once you have it you will be able to impress your kids.
I've rebuilt Jaguar twin OHC engines, BMW single OHC engines, manual gearboxes, tuned twin and triple SU's. Can't do autos or rear axles. And I still cheat and get the daughter to set up my mobile phone, my welding skills are nil and my spraying skills make a good tradesman ROFL.

M1FF I was being sarcastic (AKA) "A Smartass" And I 'am fairly computer literate, but I just have not figured out how to resize these pictures. So I was Being a smartass instead. Sorry for the confusion. Us Americans sometimes do that, instead of just admitting we are dumb. We make a sarcastic comment instead. Hope this helps. JTS 71 Mach1
PS yes I know what MS paint is.

I was sort of wondering about the computer skills of senior site staff. I wasn't quite sure how to respond - still - no hurt; no foul; play on.
I really hope my 'It worked for me' how to is of use to all.
OK my dumb question - what does YLWHRSE mean?

I could let him tell you ------ But It's Short for Yellow Horse. I'm assuming his Mustang (horse) is Yellow. If not he'll have to clarify it himself. Just my 2 cents. JTS 71 Mach1

Yes that is exactly correct. YLWHRSE is the name I gave my very first Mach 1 I bought while growing up in Denver Colorado. I purchased the car with paper route money without telling my dad. Made the deal with the lady who owned the car and made monthly payments for a year. Then informed my dad he had to go help me bring it home, I was 13 then and couldn't drive it. The car was rough and over 3 years I cut my teeth on it learning body work, paint work, engine work ect and started driving it when I was 16. YLWHRSE was the letters I had on the vanity license plate and yes I painted it competition yellow. Modified the engine e several times over my high school career and raced it a bandomeir speedway. Best pass in my senior year was 11.97 at 109. I loved that car and wish I still had it. I will have another one the same year but I just haven't found d the right candidate yet. The name stuck and I've used it ever since. My current Mach 1 a 1972 I just painted yellow so it fits. It was a green metallic car originally and was white when I bought it, but now once again is a yellow horse. YLWHRSE

Cool Man Cool! I love a great story, I thought there might be more to it. It's just unusual enough to be a perfect fit. JTS 71 Mach1
