Hello everyone calls me Hoss, and Well I've always wanted muscle cars between 68-73 so when my neighbor was going to scrap his 73 mach 1 I just couldn't let it happen. I have a pretty blank canvas to work with going to take lots of with it doesn't have a engine and has left fender rust and floors rusting out but it has never been quartered and body glass in good shape but that's about it. Might have bitten off more then I can chew on this. But going to try to bring it to life any suggestions tips or warnings that i might need would be appreciated since this is also my first time doing more then minor work but I just couldn't see a classic go. also any parts let me know

Welcome Hoss,
I like the name. In fact I have always thought of making my Mach 1 a faux Boss 351 and decaling it Hoss 351.
Share a few pictures of what you are dealing with and we will be better able to help you determine a plan of attack. I can almost guarantee that your cowl is also rusted through and if you don't replace that any other work will continue to suffer.
Check the cowl and plan on replacing that first. It will give you a good idea if you really want to rebuild the car and what it will take to do so. It is also good practice in an area that is hidden from view.
I look forward to following your progress.
Enjoy the site.

Well I'm going to restore it regardless :) just like to know what I'm in for. I'm in no hurry figured id take my sweet time working on it. Post pics soon as I can I won't get off work with daylight for a few more days. It's so far gone though I figured I wouldn't restore it to original condition but a old new mix. But looked up vin apparently it was a 302 f 2V v8 I'll also get a part list of what is in the boxes thx again in advance.

Welcome Hoss! Now your the 2nd Hoss I know. The other is on Pawn Stars...Big Hoss. Thanks for saving the 73 Mach from the scrap yard. I would hate to see her as an appliance in someone's kitchen
Please post some pictures of what you got and let's see what other tips we can offer.

Hoss you will have to re-size the picture size.
There are programs to do that but I have never spent enough time to learn those. I found that if I send the photos via e-mail to myself the e-mail will actually re-size them automatically to a size that allows me to upload them.
If something like that doesn't work someone else will need to jump in and help. There is also a thread dealing with how to resize pictures if you care to look for it.
Anyway, looking forward to the pictures.

I jumped on the next thread and M1FF had posted this tidbit of information that might help you.
In the meantime - picture size reduction 'For Dummies'.
1) Open the picture in MS Paint.
2) Select the 'Resize and Skew' menu
3) Select 'Pixles' rather than 'Percentage'
4) Make sure the 'Maintain Aspect Ratio' box is checked
5) Reduce the top number as you see fit
6) 'Save As' to preserve the original and have the reduced copy.
7) Sent it to yourself to check sizeing in an e-mail situation
8) Repeat as required.

G'day Hoss and welcome.
Havn't been here long myself but there is so much info here. I have to admire someone who takes on such a chalenge. My projects are more modest and are more mechanical (I can't weld).
Good luck
