That was an amazing score. Congratulations!
Nothing like having a copy parked right next to it when question come up.
I will be looking forward to the progress.

All Aluminum Racing 351 Cleveland Engine.docx (Size: 10.17 KB / Downloads: 2)
I have that same car,,,,,,same color etc....etc....wow.
Yours looks great.
Go with the Cleveland and stroke it out to a 408.
MME racing makes an all aluminum Ceveland that looks great.
They competed in the Hotrod magazine engine challenge and the aluminum cleveland made over 900 horsepower without a proper tuning before the competition.
Id drive the tires off that car then replace the wheels.
My car looks like a Jalopy compared to yours.

Well - I sold my Mach 1 yesterday. My wife said "One project at a time" and we're building a home in spring of '16 so the $ went to the house fund.
So now I'm down to my '70 fastback that I recently acquired ...

Congratulations looks like a nice solid project car. I'd be looking for a 351C for it. But That's your call.

Ditto on that great score...I love that car!!!! I wish you kept your other one until you got this one together. I sold my 65 Mustang coupe while I was restoring my 66 and wished I had kept it to have something to cruise around in. But like they say, if mom's not happy nobody's happy. So I completely understand why you sold your other car.
Anyways, it looks like you have a good solid project in front of you.

I have always wanted a slingshot dragster and just found a great one but my wife just looked at me over her cheater glasses and didn't have to say a word... :-(
It was minus the flathead motor but it would have made for a great nostalgia digger ! Total cacklefest car !
