I have a 72 also, but I bet yours is in better shape than mine. Like Bob said we would love to see some pictures especially since mine is all in pieces I like to see what it will look like when I get it all reassembled.
Here is the story behind the car:
My uncle bought this car from the original owner in 1995. He had car appraised for price and to see if it had original parts. I have all paperwork from that, the day the car was bought, a marti report, and lots of other original paperwork. My uncle worked on this car since 1995, and he recently finished it. He took it to a few car shows in sacramento, but he recently passed away in a 18 wheeler accident. He had a heart attack driving. He considered me the son he never had due to how similar we were. So i inherited his car. I just had it shipped from california, so i left the pics of the license plates in the picture so you all could see what it looked like the day it showed up. I am very happy and lucky to be the one to have gotten his car, so to those that might worry i may sell it i def WON"T.... I plan on keeping it original, take it to car shows, and touch up a few things here and there. Possibly get the motor tuned up in the future. I honestly would rather have my uncle back then this car, but i can't so i will always have a piece of him with me every time i sit in the car or walk in my garage. Hope you all like what you see. If ya have questions def ask away. Have stacks of papers informing me of most things i need to know about originality of car.

Sorry to hear about your uncle's passing. That is a beautiful car, it has all the right stuff, and sounds like it's well documented. Your uncle did a very nice job finishing the car and it looks very well taken care of . And with such a sentimental value attached to it I would not sell it either...it's a keeper! Thanks for the pictures.
