New from Florida

Hello from Florida.

Thanks for the website. Great job.

I have restored a number of 1971-1972 Mach1's over the last couple of years. The following link will take you there.

file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Owner/My%20Documents/tim_cole%27s_429_cj_mach_1.htm

I'm looking for a new project: either a 1971 M Code Mach 1 (in Grabber Lime) or 1972 Q Code or R Code Mach 1 (in Bright Lime). I might consider other colors. Let me know. Thank you very much.
I also know John and Sue Douglas (of Brandon, FL, across the Bay from where I live) whose 1972 R Code Mach 1 was recently featured on this website. I've seen his Mach 1 many times. Its one of the finest restorations I've seen: better than what I have done.

Happy New Year.

I restored the following 1972 R Code (351 H.O.) Mach 1's that is pictured. More to follow. Am looking for another 71-72 Mach 1 to work on now. Tim

Sorry about the previous post: no pictures. I'll try again of the 72 R Code in Grabber Blue. Tim

Looks like your link didn't work. Can you repost it? Would love to see more photos! If you have some tech articles from stuff you've done please feel free to post those as well.

I am experiencing difficulty in attempting to post pictures of the 1971-72 Mach 1's that I have restored over the last few years. Could someone who is compurer savvy list the steps (keep is simple, please and thank you!) for me to follow. Much appreciated. Tim, Florida

Most simple way is to use the forums "New Attachment" option

Hit the Browse Button and find the file on your computer. Then it "add attachment" The file you uploaded should show up like this

Hit the "insert into post" button and something simular to this should show up in your message box

Hot post reply and your image should show up :)

How this helps....if not let me know

I love that color. I'm debating changing my Gold Glow to the Grabber Blue with Argent Black stripes.

Another pic of the 1972 Mach 1 R Code I finished; Tim
Here's apic of the 1971 Mach 1, J Code, 429 CJ, C-6 that I finished three years ago; Tim; Florida
Pic of the 429 Cobra Jet in the 1971 Mach 1; Tim
Pic of a 1972 Mach 1 Q Code 351-CJ, 4 speed that I finished 7 years ago, Gold Glow in color; 1/2 vinyl roof (very rare).
Pic of another 1972 Mach 1, Q Code, C-6, 351-CJ, in Bright Lime (only a 72 color); Tim
    Pic of a 1971 Mach 1, Grabber Lime, M Code, 351-4v; C-6 automatic, that I finished in 2000; Tim

Thanks for the helpful instructions in getting my pics uploaded for the site. The last pic which has no description is a 1972 Mach 1 (H Code, 351-2v); but I pulled the motor and put in a 429 motor from a 1969 Thunderbird. The paint was similiar to Grabber Green, a 1971 color. I've seen the car on e-bay a couple of times.

I'm currently looking for another project: either a 1971 M Code or a 1972 Q Code (351-4v) or R Code (351-HO) . I'd like to find another Bright Lime car (1972 color) or Grabber Lime (1971 color).

I've included a rear shot of the 1971 J Code (429 CJ). The color is Wimbledon White.
