Hi there...welcome to the site! One of my favorite cars is the 69 Mach 1. Please share some pictures and some more detail about it. Just out of curiousity, is there a difference between an Australian GT vs the U.S. counterpart?

Hi, Same but different, the the gt falcons are alot simular with all the goodies shaker scoops spoilers rear wings tach etc. they were loosley based on your earlier models until ford Australia changed its looks with the xa model in 72.
the engine set up was the same as the US with 289, 302, 351w models until the 70 when the cleveland took over with the 302C 2V for towing to the 1971 351C 4V GTHO Phase3 with nearly 600hp @140mph, this was a souped up 4door. the 4v cleveland heads were large port on all gt models and std 9" rear.
Not that many differences although I am struggling with the wiring loom in my mustang, but I love the styling of the 60s 70s mustangs they still hold up after all these years.

Welcome.
Glad to have you with us.
So - it will be interesting to hear your comments on the 69 Mach 1 compared to the Aussie GT's once you are able to drive it.

Thanks for the welcome Guys.
I think I would be happy even to roll down the hill with my project, just to get it out of the workshop would be a treat

Hey Guys. My Name is Phillip. Found this forum doing research on my 1973 Mach 1 F code with Q code modifications. (351C 2v with C4 Trans, Ram Air Hood.) I've Just got the Car a Few months ago on a trade for one of my other Mustangs. It looks good from a distance but I've got a to do list a mile long for it.lol I've got a lot to learn about this 73 and I figured this would be a great place to do so.

Thanks Steven. I have a few. 03 mustang Gt, 89 GT, and now a 1973 Mach 1. I had another 03 Gt but that's the one I traded for the Mach 1. I also have 2014 SXT Charger, 2006 F150, and a 99 Jeep Cherokee limited.
