[attachment=9678]Just found this site today; looks like a good one. Own a '70 Sportsroof Deluxe w/ a lot of Mach I equipment; confirmed by Marti Report. Completely original still. The '69 - '70s were the pinnacle of Mustang; economy, luxury, muscle, handling; one could get any combo they wanted fr the option sheet. Thanks.

Myself & "Pumpkin" both thank you. Got it's nickname the first time a friend laid eyes on it. Laughing; "HEY, A PUMPKIN!!" Having been brainwashed by GM his entire life, he could be forgiven. Seems they simply CAN NOT recognize superior machinery. LOL Thanks again.

Typical GM attitude, Talk big even if you don't know what you're talking about. Just remind him Gm gave up and did quit building the Camaro, for several years! JTS 71 Mach1

In spite of his bias, Dave was a REALLY fun guy to have around; a true motorhead. EVERYTHING he drove was "tested" by the hands on method. I would love nothing better today than to remind him of GMs warranty woes; unfortunately he's no longer w/ us due to a motorcycle accident in the prime of life. To this day I can't think of 'Grabber Orange' w/o remembering "HEY, A PUMPKIN!!" and having a chuckle to boot. Missed still by many.
