Is there any way to tell boss 69-70 boss 302 heads from closed chamber 351c heads. Just wondering

2. 1969 Boss 302 heads have 2.25" intake valves
3. The Boss 302 heads will not have a "4" cast into the upper left corner of the head. (As viewed from the top)
There are other differences, but are not listed as they coincide with Boss 351 heads (screw-in rocker studs etc...)

Also the 1st & early boss 302 heads had a smaller combustion chamber. I cant remember the exact volume but I have a book at home that lists all the ford numbers and the CC volumes. The numbers are typically stamped in the casting on the underside of the head on the bottom of the intake runner and nearly impossible to read when on the car. just my 2 cents. If you are trying to identify the set and can wait 2 weeks ( as I just got to work in Alaska) you are more than welcome to msg me the numbers and I will check my book for you when I get home.
