Recently purchase a 04 mach 1 , It has some rock chips the paint code is L5 having problems locating touch up paint. Check at ford dealer no luck. any Ideas?

I have never checked for touch up paint so I do not have any personal experience to help. Maybe someone else can jump in on that one ...

yes this is the first mach 1 i have owned,It took sometime to find one with the automatic trans,Back in the day a friend owned a 1969 mach 1 bare bones car but fast,Mine has 55,000 miles on it so far so good

Any good auto paint store can put actual car paint into a standard spray can. To give you the conveinence of not having to use a spray gun. For small chips I simply spray some paint in the top of the lid, and use a good quality artist brush to slowly fill the chips, usually four or five times before its filled. If your careful you can level them off almost perfect, if you have a lot of patience. Be sure to dab or spray a little clear over them as you car is a base coat clear coat, and if you don't the paint spots can fade on you. Good luck with it. JTS 71 Mach1
