Hi Everyone,
I came across this site by accident yesterday and it’s good to see that there so many enthusiasts of the Mustang Mach1. I purchased mine (a 1971 Mach1, 429CJ, red with black decals, restored) from a dealer in St. Louis, MO earlier this year. I didn’t get to see or drive the car before I bought it but I was lucky and it arrived in very good shape with just a few minor mechanical repairs being needed.
As I have stumbled across this site of Mach1 experts, I would like to know if anyone can tell me how many 429’s were manufactured in total (… in 1971 of course – that much I do know).
OK, that’s all for now. I’ll try and include a couple of photos with this post which were taken by the dealer. The last pic is one of me at my work place – arriving in style of course, but not looking as cool as my car!
Cheers Everyone,
Thomas
