Not a bad looking little Mustang. Was it a Cobra II or did someone dress it up. If it was a Cobra II, was it a V8. My dad had a 77 Cobra II black and gold, we did several mods. Early 302 4 barrell heads with shims under the valves, cam, headers, 289 streetmaster intake, 650 edelbrock, and hooker sidepipes. With a 4 speed stick, it was quite the stop light killer. Sold this in the middle of an Iowa winter. Would not let the buyer test drive - because it was never in the snow. Finally had a clear day, he came by, drove it home. Still miss it during the summer. I really love my Mach though.

I took what I owed the tax dept, to net a bargain, what better way to be motivated to save than owe those guys, Managed to get the car, and pay my dues too

That must have been a tough decision. I like both and that Fairlane is the cats ass cool.
