Laps for Charity

Just wanted to share a couple photos from the Laps For Charity event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway held this past Sunday.
The weather had been wet the week before but cleared up just in time for a nice event.
I ran with the local Mustang club guys for my first 3 laps then did a re-buy for another 3, happened to fall in behind this white 70 Mach. Had a great time and will definitely do again.

Now that looks like fun. Does your insurance still cover you if you use it on a track? If we go on a track our insurance doesn't cover us over here.

I have collector/exotic insurance on my 2012 Shelby costs me 1025.00 per year and Im covered for 60,000 agreed value.
I also have mileage restrictions of 4500 miles per year. Track use not allowed.

The pace car limits everyone to about 80, sometimes 85 MPH. Strictly single-file; no passing or side-by-side action. But even so, to hear the Cleveland wind up and feel the suspension squat down on the banking is nothing short of sublime.

Re insurance, coverage may have been OK since it's not a competition, more like a show/cruise. I admit I never thought about it
