I owned a 69 MACH I about 20 years ago and am desperately trying to find where it ended up and possibly try to buy it back, but at least would like to see how it turned out.
It was a numbers matching 428CJ with shaker hood scoop.
I sold it and a donor car to a man in West TN who was going to restore it with his son. The VIN is 9F02R218729. Any serious suggestions on how to locate are appreciated. I know it is a long shot but I have to try.

Try this Idea. Find a police offier. Prefferably a friend and give him the vin He should be able to run it and find the last registered owner. If its changed hands and wasn't registered your out of luck. I've done this several times with good sucess. Good Luck. JTS 71 Mach1

If your on good terms with your insurance agent he may be able to run the VIN for you.
