Hey all,
I am in the process of buying an 04 Comp Orange Mach 1. It is on the west coast and I am in the mid-west. Any recommendations on a shipping company?

Welcome and congratulations!
I have never had to ship a car. I don't recall any members here using a shipping company for the U.S. just for overseas.
Here's hoping someone has a recommendation for you.
Anyway, jump on in and join the fun. Competition orange would have been my choice - well done.

Make sure you get a licensed, bonded, insured company
I used DAS several years ago - expensive but excellent service.
They did scratch the fender very small scratch.
They did send a rep out and then sent a check for about 700.00 to have the fender repainted and stripe replaced.
Some companies are just brokers - then you don't know who is bringing the car.
Good luck

Thanks for the help Don.
Their site is straight forward and an approximate price is seconds away.

Happy to hear you found a shipping company. I just sold my 84 Rabbit GTI showcar to a guy in Laredo, TX and the shipping company he used was fantastic. If something happens and you need to look again let me know...I can get the info for you.
