Back from the body shop

Well I finally have the car back from body and paint. It took 2 different shops and 15 months of work, but she is finally home and ready for reassembly to begin. I will post a before, during and present photos to give you an idea of the work done and progress made so far. My goal is January 2014 to have her done and ready for concourse judging in Charlotte at the 50th Anniversary.

It is Medium Lime Metallic for 72. Color code 4F. My 67 is Ivy Gold. Quite a difference in the two colors when they are side by side. In one of the pictures you see a 70 boss in the background. It is also Medium Lime for 70 and the color is significantly different.

Looking good. Well worth the long wait to get it this far.

Car looks awesome and straight as an arrow too. You can definitely see the difference between the HS bodywork and how the car shows now. The car went from ordinary to extraordinary. Great job and I am looking forward to seeing the final results.
