o yea i know.. the day after i got the car i took it to a car show and had people all over it.. dont get me wrong i would take a 68 shelby over the 71 mach 1.. if i wanted it for just the value.. but i love the body lines on my 71 mach 1 the front end of this car makes it stand out so much.. and around here ive only seen 2 other cars like mine.. and that was years ago.. im just having such a hard time finding parts for this car that i cant help but to think about putting all new model stuff in it.. i am going to go with the 2001 motor if i can.. hell it took me forever to find the antenna cable

Let me know if I can help you find specific parts. We have some pretty good local shops here in Arizona.
Id go for the Shelby to if I could afford one. I truly believe these Mach's from 71-73 will come into there own in the next few years.

Im thinking about putting a supercharged 8 Cylinder, 4.6 L svt motor in it...what do you think? It has a 315 c.. in it now.. but it needs rebuilt. not much horsepower.. i like stock.. but i think i want to go with a crazy upgrade.. im getting ready to strip the car down. ive found rust on the frame and in the inner finders. im having a hard time finding inner finders. ive got a guy going to do the frame and floor pans.i need to find more parts... any help
Have you thought about seeing if the mark 8 frontend parts could work out . The marks has uper and lower control arms ,the motors crossmember is removable from the car . It could make things easier . C.L.
