Just wanted to introduce myself. I bought my 1972 Q-code Mach 1 about 6 years ago, drove it a bit, and then parked it since it had an electrical issue. 2 years later I got divorced.
This past weekend my current husband wanted to get my car running for my birthday, and accomplished it in a weekend. I'm very happy. I helped him of course, since it is my car, and I wanted to learn as much as I could. We changed out the starter, fixed the wires (a positive was grounded on the frame), changed the oil, replaced the high pressure power steering line, cleaned the carb, and fuel filter, pulled out the gas tank, (got rid of the bad gas) luckly the gas tank was still in good shape, put a little air in the tires, and so the project begins.....I'm sure I will have tons of questions. pictures to come soon.
