Hey guys, I'm working on a '71 Mach 1 and having trouble with the turn signals. Right now, no light in the dash arrows and no flashing when the turn signal lever is moved. For a while it seemed intermittent, the signal would flash for about 5 blinks in either direction I tried but then would just quit. I have changed out the flasher, all bulbs and cleaned contacts. Seems the only thing left is to change out the switch itself but I cant find one. All the suppliers seem out of stock and on backorder. Can anyone out there suggest a supplier for this switch or have any ideas for
me to try? My steering column is fixed not tilt.
Thanks!
Mike

Did you try Don at Ohio Mustang. If he does not have a new one he may have a used one for you. He is a member here and has been very helpful to the members.

No one has new ones
There is a problem with overseas manufacturer or tooling
No ETA on when it will be solved
I have some used ones but most are out of non running parts cars or untested while in a running car.

YOU CAN TRY N.O.S. PARTS SOURCE IN OLATHE, KS 913-220-5746 OR PEROGIE ENTERPRISES IN HIGHSTOWN, NJ 609-448-5593. THEY BOTH SHOW A ( D2AZ.13341.C ) IN THEIR INVENTORY. YOU MIGHT GIVE THEM A CALL BUT HOLD ON TO YOUR WALLET, BECAUSE THEY MIGHT BE VERY PROUD OF THEIR ORIGINAL PARTS.

Great! I will contact Don and check with him on a used switch. Thanks for the lead.
I was looking at my switch and I'm not sure power is getting to the turn signal part of the switch. The hazards work as they are supposed to and the horn works but I put my meter on numerous spots on the switch but don't get any voltage. On the white top part of the switch is a green lead and a white lead. When tested with my meter no voltage. I just wondered if anyone would have a suggestion to be sure that the switch part is getting power????
Thanks,
Mike
