03/04 Shaker Bushings

Victor.Gorea mentioned that his Shaker would rattle sometimes on his 03 Mach 1 in an intro thread. So I thought I would post some info about that. Ford actually redesigned the Shaker bushings to take care of that problem.

Ford calls them Insulators. The old insulators can be identified by their off white color. The replacement insulator (if I remember correctly) are black.

I replaced mine and the rattle went away. The bad news is that a set of 4 cost me around $65 from the dealer. Probably can find them cheaper from an online dealer. The Ford part number is 2L7Z-9P686-AA.
