I recently purchased, but have yet to receive, a '69 Mach 1 with a Shaker hood and CJ 428 engine. It has been fully restored. It is jade black with yellow strips. Once I receive it, I will post pictures. Hopefully, a serious muscle car. I love the profile of the '69's with the long hood in conjunction with the fast back design--the silhouette truly speaks for speed. I love muscle cars as I am sure all members do. In addition to this car, I have a 2008 shelby super snake with 725 HP, a 2008 shelby KR, and a 2009 cobra with red stripe appearance package. You simply cannot have enough horsepower.

Welcome, I'm jealous. You definetly got the horsepower end covered. What part of IL. I'm originally from Kankakee. But I live in Arkansas cause it was a safer place to raise kids. (my ex wife still lives there) Enjoy the site and jump in anytime. JTS 71 Mach1

Welcome Robert.
Seriously - that is some serious horsepower!
Does one of your cars stand out from the rest to you? It will be interesting to see how the 69 Mach 1 compares to the modern Mustangs.
Welcome. Enjoy the site. We will all be looking forward to meeting the newest rides. Don't hesitate to post pictures of the whole family.

Thanks for the reply. Live in the McHenry area north of Chicago. More quiet here too.

Thanks for the reply. As you might imagine, each car is unique. Obviously the SS really takes off, but I think the KR drives the smoothest. It also has a better rumble with the KR muffler too. Will post pictures of the whole family and will report comparisons of the '69 to '08 as I am looking forward to that test.

PS I'm still jealous! The Cubs are in a rebuilding phase and have a firm hold on last place in their division. You actually may be better off getting with just an occasional game--saves hitting your head against the wall.

Welcome to the site from Virginia! Sounds like a great stable you have there. You must have a hard time deciding which car to take out for a spin. Looking forward to seeing pics of all your cars.

Yeah, I watched the Dodgers, Walk DeJesus last night to win the game in eleven innings after comming from behind in the 9th. Something the Cubbies don't normally pull off. So at least I'm optimistic! And the lumps on my head are healing nicely, Thank You!
Did you every notice Ford Blue and Cubbie Blue are just about the same color???
