Father in law's 73,
#1
I wish I could be on here talking about my car, instead I am on here to help do the research and wrenching on my father in laws.
Don't get me wrong, I could do this stuff everyday if I could.

I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can to make his car everything it can be.
He's had it since 73. Everything on it is stock. The body and interior was completely redone over the last two years.
I'd like to talk him in to freshening up the suspension back to a "new stock" feel.
The 351C 2V motor still pulls strong and doesn't leak a drop so I don't see a need to tinker in there when I really doubt he'll be heading to the strip anytime soon.

Welcome Travis(uh-Ford) Biggrin

Glad to have you on board.

Feel free to talk about your own car and do some research for your father-in-law while you are at it. We hope we can help you out.

Welcome to the site and feel free to ask any questions. I bet your father-in-law is glad he has held onto it all these years. Post up some pictures and tell us more about the history of the car.

Smiliegenerator_test6 post some pics. sounds like your father-in-law and I have a lot in common. I've had mine since it was new and I have redone the car two or three times. tried to keep it original.Everything but the radio and I just found a am 8 track that I'm going to put in it soon.I hope the 8 track works. If not I will be looking for someone to repair it.

Welcome to the club Travis. I can certainly respect somone who has kept their car for so many years, especially an original owner. It shows an high level of appreciation for their car.

I would like to hear from original owner's of 64-73 Mustangs/Mach 1's on the topic of having the foresight not to sell or trade in your classic cars.

Finley...your car looks like it just rolled off the show room floor. Great job keeping it all original. If the 8 track radio ends up working let me know. I believe I have a box of 8 track cassettes laying around just in case you want to listen to some music!!
