Hi all,
I just joined the site. Looks like a great site and full of useful information for my 1970 Mach 1 restoration. My project just got painted. As soon as I figure out how to post I will send some before and after pics. The process has been slow because the car in in El Salvador (yes, Central America). I live in Mexico right now. They have great craftsman down there but you have to be on top of them. Getting parts is difficult and usually entails me flying down with several large boxes, floorpans, windshield, etc. I also have a 63 vette and 71 cuda down there. Someday, I'll get them back to the US.

Anyway great club. Right now I am looking to finish the interior, all medium blue. Any suggestions appreciated. I need blue seat covers, blue carpet and blue dash and door panels. My car is a FMX with a 2bbl Clevland, that I recently rebuilt and put a four barrel on.

thanks for your time,
Mach70

Welcome.

We will be looking forward to the pictures of your car. Both the before and after.

Maybe Don Witt at Ohio Mustang Supply can give you some help with the medium blue interior.

Here are some pics of my 70 mach when I bought it.
Hopefully these will load. It looks like you can only load one at a time. I will load some more later.
Another attempt at posting pics.
Sorry about the size, I have learned how to make them smaller yet.
Here it is in primer. Okay primer ones were too large. I'll have to figure that out later. Here are more from when I bought it.
Just painted.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Looks like you doing a great job by disassembling the car for the body work and repaint. Looks like some other interesting cars in the background. Is the Triumph a TR 250?

Thanks MIke.
It is definitely a lot of work. that is a TR250 in the back with a surrey top. I've been tyring to buy that for a while. It is rust free and very nice. eaasy restoration. They all look easy at first though. Smile
