Hi all, I am new to the "car club" forums but I have had my 03 Mach 1 for a little over a year. I recently got stationed in Maryland. I was in California for 2 years before that. I wanna start modding her and maybe get into the race scene eventually. My first and biggest question... I wanna put in a new clutch because I have heard that the stock clutches dont hold up well but I am not sure what is a good brand... I have read on some sites that SPEC and RAM are good clutches but I have also heard that those are more for tuners and to go for a Clutch master.

Welcome Dan,
I am on the classic Mach 1 side of the fence so I cannot answer your specific 03 question. We do have 03 owners who will check in directly and be able to give you hands on advice for the clutch.
I hear that they are great cars - so much so that I keep my eye open for the one that I can afford to buy.

Here is a picture... It isnt the best one of her I am in the midst of a "restoration" on her... She has some dents and dings and needs a paint job

Those aren't dents and dings those a beauty marks, and show she's got character! Looks good as is. My 08 mustang has several of those beauty marks I didn't put them there, some wonderful person at Wal Mart was Jealous I guess. She wasn't 6 months old and got it in the passenger side door, about the size of a 38 bullet and 1/4" deep! JTS 71 Mach1

Man what is it about people in walmart... I got one of my side scoops torn off at a Wal Mart and the guy didnt even leave a note... the biggest thing is a giant "DICK" keyed into my hood... memento from my loving ex girlfriend...
