HELLO
BEEN A MUSTANG NUT SINCE AGE 4 WHEN MY COUSIN WAS USING MUSTANGS AS STOCK CARS AT THE BOONE SPEEDWAY. THIS WAS 1974 WHEN 69 FASTBACKS WERE JUST USED CARS. BOUGHT MY FIRST 65 COUPE AT AGE 15 AND STILL OWN THE CAR TODAY. RESTORING A BLACK JADE 69 MACH 1 FOR THE WIFE. ( WE SOLD HER 65 COUPE, STILL HAVEN'T HEARD THE END OF IT). ANYWAY THE MACH HAS A 351W 4BBL AND A TOP LOADER 4 SPEED. ALSO HAS POWER STEERING AND POWER DISC BRAKES. IT IS JUST ABOUT READY FOR PAINT AND THE DRIVE TRAIN IS TOTALLY FINISHED. FOUND THE CAR ABANDONED IN A STORAGE UNIT FOR $200 COMPLETE. WILL POST PICS WHEN I GET A CHANCE.

Welcome Joel,
What a story! What a find!
Can't say that I blame your wife - seems to me she's a keeper.
We will be looking forward to those pictures and more of the story.

Welcome Glad somebody got lucky! $200.00 complete did you at least feel a little guilty? Really congrats just wish I was one of the lucky ones. Oh and hang on to the wife, any woman mad cause you sold her Mustang, sounds good to me. Mine has an 2008 Mustang with a 5 speed stick. Wouldn't have it any other way! JTS 71 Mach1

THANKS GUYS
I AM FROM BOONE AND WORK AT THE FORD DEALER (EST 1928) HERE. RIGHT NOW THEY HAVE A TORCH RED 2003 MACH 1 WITH LESS THAN 10,000 MILES ON IT FOR SALE. IF I COULD ONLY HIT THE LOTTERY. THE WIFE'S 65 WAS A THREE SPEED MANUAL WITH A 289. RESTORED BY BOTH OF OUR FATHERS WHO ARE NO LONGER WITH US. (MAKES US WANT IT BACK EVEN MORE) THAT WAS ONE OF THE REASONS SHE LATCHED ON TO THIS 4 SPEED MACH 1, SHE CAN'T WAIT TO ROW IT THROUGH THE GEARS. I CAME ACROSS THIS SIGHT WHEN I GOOGLED THE PART NUMBER DOZZ 16103 B FOR A DRIVERS SPLASH SHIELD FOR THIS CAR. I AM LOOKING FOR A GOOD ONE...HOW DO I NAVIGATE TO FIND THAT ONE AND A PRICE?
THANKS
JOEL

Hey Joel,
I think the hit you may be referring to is here: http://mach1club.com/showthread.php?tid=...rt+numbers
It is a list of various part numbers rather than parts for sale. Jimmach may have something like that extra or call Don Witt at Ohio Mustang Supply and he will hook you up. http://www.ohiomustang.com/
All the best.
