Hi, code "s" 69 Mach1, getting ready to restore this with my son. I'm looking to find out which manuals/books are a must have for this project?
Thanks

Hey - glad to have you here with us.
We have quite a few that have or are in the process of restoring and working on their 69's. They will be along shortly to advise you of what they have found useful.
We always enjoy pictures so post a few if you have them. Seeing what others have going always helps keep us motivated with our own.
Again, glad to have you here with us.

I have the "1969 Car Preliminary Shop Manual" and an electronic copy of the"1969 Car Shop Manual" That I use a lot. Also have "Mustang Restoration Handbook" by Don Taylor & Tom Wilson, "Chilton's Repair & Tune-up Guide Mustang/Cougar 1965-1973" and "Ford V8 Mustang 1964 1/2 Thur 1973 Automotive Repair Manual" by J.H. Haynes. I've had some of these for several years so they maybe out of print. Not saying they are the best just what I have used.
Great car for a father son project. The 390 should provide plenty of power. Have a 351 in ours. My wife ordered it about 11 months before we met.

WOW! What a great project for the two of you. It is fun and remember to take your time and do it right the first time...
