Live around the Houston Texas area. Have a 69 Mach 1 M Code, FMX, 3.25 non-lock. Bought it for my wife as it was advertised as a daily driver. Well, as we all know...that is a wide open term.
Began by replacing a bent axle and a replaced a wood screw holding on the passenger side racing mirrors. All in all she is in good shape when compared to some of the stuff I have seen on Mustang sites. So, still considered her a good start. Been collecting parts and pieces to make her a daily driver. No intentions, at this point, of a total rebuild..just a fun cool car.
Had this exact same car (except for rear seat) as my first car and paid $400.00 for her and she ran like a top!!!! Okay, that is a lie...but man, when she did run!!!! And, no, that is not what I paid this time!
Anyway, working on the dash now and it is all over the place on the work bench. Next, floor pan seal, shifter bushings/detail, sound treatment, painting of all interior plastics and then the new carpet and dash pad.
Get the windows to align with the upper door frame...blah, blah, blah....will proly always be a "daily project." She still looks better than most cars just sitting still.
