Here's another photo floating around. Hopefully someone cruising around the net that works for FoMoCo will see this and know we arent happy. Also hopefully this isn't the year they decide to bring back the Mach 1, if they do I don't want one!! Sad

Surely not.

The Mustang image is long nose short deck.

Although I can see an attempt to bring out the 71/73 rear window.

Ive read the 2015 is going to be a total departure from what we've become accustom to with the S197's starting in 2005 with lots of European influences. I gotta tell you if it looks anything like the pictures shown here I'm not a fan! Has the feel of the Mustang II. Naughty

"Hey" Ford where did all the car guys go??? We like Mustangs that look like Mustangs! Just look at your sales numbers since you introduced the 2005 up body, they went straight up! Keep building Mustangs, that look like Mustangs! Remember the 74 to 78 Mustang II "FLOP". Remember the first couple years of the FOX body (79), You got lucky with that one, somebody figured out you could drag race the hell out of them. Cause they sure as heck didn't look like a Mustang. The 94 to 98 wasn't terrible, you could see a resemblence. The 99 to 2004 was better. Then came the 2005. Pray It's the bottom of the ninth tie score, Chevy's heavy hitter (camaro) struck out in the top of the inning with 2 on. Now its the Ford teams turn. The manager calls for the old veteran (Mustang) off the bench. He's old tried and true. But he's looking exceptinally good this year a little leaner and meaner, more like he did several years ago. Wow what a day to be a baseball fan. Heres the pitch, a fastball down the middle, he swings "CRACK" There is no doubt as the ball rockets to straight away center field, The only question is will it stay in the park? Nope out over the center field wall!! HOLY COW! HOME RUN!!! REMEMBER FORD it's us "old" Baby Boomers who are buying Mustangs. (I personally own a 2008) Awes Not so much the Yuppies, or the Euro Tuners. or the Rice Rocket crowd. IT'S US, the same guys that had one back in the day when they were Cool and New to every body! It's simple keep tuning the fiddle to us and you'll keep selling MUSTANGS. Don't and??? Well you know what happened before! Let's see how good your memory is! A110103_confused_prv JTS 71 Mach1
