Trying to get some info for a friend. Can you use a C4 neutral safety switch in place of a C6 switch? The C6 switch has two plugs on it. Are the reverse lights and the neutral safety switch wires in the one big plug and is the smaller plug for something else? Was it an extra for another model car or is doing something? When all else fails pull out the drawings
I looked at the drawing for a 73 today even though his is a 72 coupe (not sure of build date as the door sticker isn't original) and there is a circuit for a seatbelt warning that goes through the neutral safety switch. We are assuming that is what it could be. He is going to check it out and might be able to use the C4 switch if it fits and not worry about the extra plug.
