What all needs changing,I was told to get parts for 1971 429.I got new motor mounts on the 460 they are a little wider ,the oil pan hit the cross member if I try to lower engine onto the mounts,C6 trans bolted up nice to C4 support.

Welcome - glad to have you here with us.
The 429 and the 460 are the same motor family so everything you need should be off the shelf for the 429 cars. Cross reference those parts and you should be set.

Do I need to change the frame mounts,got the transmission mount bolted and motor needs to go back about 2 more inches to be lowered onto the crossmember,but if I do that it looks like the oil pan will hit the crossmember

I run Cleveland cars so I do not know personally what parts interchange or are unique. That will take some research. Maybe someone with either swap experience of books can give us an idea. I'll keep looking.

No idea on this one since a Mach1 or even a Mustang came with a 460 ever. I know you have the space for it just not sure what all would be needed to accomplish this. Hopefully one of the other members can help you more.
