Check out this thread, especially about cleaning all the contacts at the solonoid.
Dashboard lights REALLY dim, any fixes??
Great photos, thanks for sharing. I like the pin stripes on the 73 and those seats look comfy.

Thanks for supporting me. My buddy, and the guy that did the paint work, hate the pin strip, but I think it 'softens' the look a little bit. I'm not running 400 HP, it's just a cruiser.
The front seats are SO much better than the stock 'concrete' seats. They are out of an 87 Mustang, so I figured I was 'safe'. It was $50 for the pair of them at my local junk yard, and some bucks to have them recovered. Had the back seat recovered to match. The new seats bolted right in without any problems.

Thanks. I liked the old slotted mags that used to come as an option, but it was tough finding tires for them. These were the closest wheels that I could find.

Wow look great! I thought when I looked at these initially that they were just refurbished originals!

Can't find those tires any more. I don't like the huge wheel/lowest profile tire look on older cars. I like raised white letter tires.

Your wheels are very close to the stock 73's. I think thats the closest to the original's that I have seen. Here is my baby with the 73 Ford wheels:
