I think that I figured out the picture posting issue, anyway this is the day we brought her home.
Parts filled the truck bed with 1 tore down 351C, 1 complete 351C, C6 and two sets of fenders, spare door and misc body parts.
Inside the car was a bunch of parts from this car and a parts car.
Engine bay was a mess, we've cleaned, sanded and painted it prior to the powertrain install.
As of today we've got the engine in and running, all the lighting is working after finding the cut/broken wires, rebuilt the front suspension and now I'm going thru the brake system.
Wife has been working on the floor pan sanding and prepping it for paint.
So far it's been an easy project with just a few problems, one major stroke of luck is a lack of rust due to the previous owner keeping the car garaged.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update 1/10/11--------------------------------
Thought I'd update the progress, I still need to paint out the hood but have been thinking of repainting the car.
I painted the car in the garage and ended up with lots of dust in the paint (Forgot about the openning at the top) due to the wind picking up. Lesson learned: Don't rush and tripple check the makeshift paint booth. Cut & Buff won't help
We have been driving it since April 2010 and having fun with it, even with a tired 351 it grabs a decent 2nd gear with the C6.
2011 plans will be a rebuild on the 351C and reinstalling the A/C. Believe it or not the wife got herslf a trophy at the last Mustang Plus car show, we were all surprised and asked if they made a mistake.
