Sounds like the car has been in the family a while, did your uncle buy it new?

Well I'd love to give you a better picture of his white shoes, but that's about the original size of the picture! It was taken with some old camera & the actual print is just a little bigger than a postage stamp! lol.
Yes, it's been in the family a long time. He bought it when it was just a few years old.
I started restoring it a couple of years ago and am in full powdercoat production. Just doing odds and ends now. Haven't started on the body, which is the big part. It's taken a lot of abuse and road salt over the years.

Yes, I can imagine what the years of road salt has done to it through the years in Illinois.
Post some pictures of it all as you go along. We may be able to help with some questions or intervene in some other areas as well.
